Prove It at the Library's First-Ever Trivia Night!
It's time to gather your dream team, put those random facts to good use,
and battle for ultimate bragging rights! The Barbara Moscato Brown Memorial Library is
inviting the community to its first-ever Trivia Night Fundraiser on Thursday, August 20,
from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Rich Valley Winery.
Teams of four players will compete through multiple rounds of fast-paced trivia covering a wide
variety of categories. Whether you're a trivia champion or just looking for a fun activity, Trivia
Night promises plenty of laughs, friendly competition, and a great night out—all while
supporting your local library.
The registration fee is $25 per team. Registration opens Monday, July 27, and closes Friday,
August 15. Because space is limited to just 12 teams, participants are encouraged to register
early before spots fill up. Participants must be 21 or older. Register online through the library’s
website or Facebook page, scanning the QR code on a program flyer, or stopping by the library.
The winning team will earn more than just bragging rights. Champions will take home trophies,
receive their $25 entry fee back, and each enjoy a complimentary drink token from Rich
Valley Winery.
Guests can also try their luck at the basket raffle, featuring an exciting assortment of themed gift
baskets generously donated by local businesses, organizations, and community members. Every
ticket purchased helps support the library's programs, services, collections, and special events
that enrich the Cameron County community. Baskets will be displayed through August 31 in
the library, so even if you don’t make it to trivia night, you can still enter to win a basket.
"Trivia is one of those activities that brings people together through laughter, teamwork, and a
little friendly competition," said Library Director Yelena Kisler. "We're excited to offer
something new for our community and hope everyone will join us for a fun evening while
supporting the library."
