The new kilns are officially up and running!
After being loaded and placed into operation on May 19, these high capacity kilns have already dried more than 840,000 board feet of lumber.
With a maximum capacity of approximately 95,000 - 97,000 board feet per kiln and turnaround times averaging 10-14 days, they are quickly becoming a crucial part of our operation.
The additional drying capacity will help us increase throughput, keep lumber moving efficiently from the mill to the dryline, and support continued improvement in production and efficiency across the facility.
