SPECIAL MASS & PICNIC AT
ST. JAMES, DRIFTWOOD
July 25th is the Feast Day of St. James. On that day, Saturday, July 25, 2026, we will have a special Mass and picnic at
St. James, Driftwood at 5:30 PM.
Our guest preacher will be
Fr. Justin Pino, Historian and Archivist of the Diocese of Erie and pastor of St. Leo in Ridgway. Following the Mass, there will be picnic on site at St. James.
Fr. Pino will be sharing a special presentation of previous pastors of St. James, including the compelling story of Bishop Thomas Francis Brennen who immediately became the Bishop of Dallas Texas from 1891-1892,
then never to be seen again!
The presentation will take place in the church following the picnic.
All are invited to attend this special day!
Members of the Cameron County Historical Society are invited to attend as well.
We’ll provide the pizza, please bring a dish to share.
