Steven Bryan Park, 70, of Melbourne, Florida, passed away on June 20, 2026 peacefully, surrounded by loved ones after a hard-fought battle with AML.
Born on September 30, 1955 in St. Mary’s, Pennsylvania, he was the oldest son of Bibiana and James Park.
Family was the center of Steve’s world. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Sue, with whom he shared 44 wonderful years of marriage. As a father and grandfather, he never missed a game, recital, or opportunity to offer a joke or words of wisdom and unconditional support. He filled his home and the lives of all his family and friends with laughter, warmth, and the comforting reassurance that they were always loved. Steve worked for NextEra Energy, Inc. He was a dedicated and respected as a Wind Site manager before retiring in 2016 after 39 years of service. Outside of work and family, Steve enjoyed bowling, pickleball, golf and weekly game nights. Steve was a director of the Bridgewater Board of Directors for three years, he was dedicated to maintaining the quality of the close-knit community of Bridgewater.
Steve is survived by his beloved wife, Susan, his children, Danielle and Austin with his wife Casey and his wonderful granddaughters, McKayla and Graysen. He his also survived by his younger siblings, Rachel and Edward.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Bibiana Park.
Service Details
A Celebration of Life to be held in Steve’s honor will be planned for August.
