Bark Shanty CCC Camp Project
The last two weeks have been very busy at the Bark Shanty CCC camp site.
DCNR crews have begun installation of an informational kiosk.
They are also constructing a small parking area off Gaswell Road.
Plans for the near future include installation of a DCNR CCC sign (one of the large brown signs seen at other CCC sites).
The wayside interpretive panels have been ordered and should be installed this summer.

We also installed some additional signs identifying features and added a couple of arrow signs to assist with the self-guided tour.
The trails are clear and the features have been cleaned of debris.
It's a great time to visit the site.
There are brochures and stickers in the registry box.
