Community Update: Driftwood Cell Tower Outage
We have received an update regarding the ongoing cellular service issues in the Down County (Driftwood/Sinnemahoning) area.
Cause: The outage is confirmed to be related to a Windstream fiber issue impacting the local tower.
Status: A mobile cell tower is currently being deployed to the area to help restore connectivity.
ETA: We do not currently have an estimated time for full service restoration.
Service Impact: Please note that this issue appears to be impacting AT&T customers specifically.
Reports indicate that Verizon and other networks remain operational in the area.
We will share more information as it becomes available.
