Volunteers Needed
WE NEED HELP! There are just 5 of us taking care of the 11,000 rainbow trout in our cooperative nursery. We really need 2 more regular workers and 1 or more on call helpers.
You need to be able to commit to being at the nursery the same day every week between 6 and 12 AM (of course everyone misses a day now and then). We have to record conditions, pull dead fish, feed the fish, clean the raceway and more. It can take from 1/2 to 1-1/2 hours.
It is ideal if you live in the East Fork, Wharton, Cherry Springs, Costello or Austin.
I come down from Coudersport.
You do not have to be otherwise active in the EFSC.
We really need new blood to keep this "hatchery" going. If you want to know more please message me. You can also learn more by talking with Brian Airing (Wharton Store) or Travis Runkle (Hemlock Campground)
We can move days around, this could be for Saturday and Sunday or a weekday.
