Nancy Jean (Mock) Nagrant, 62 of Driftwood, PA passed away peacefully at Penn Highlands-DuBois on Friday, October 8, 2021 from complications of COVID-19. She was born May 27, 1959 in Johnstown, PA a daughter of the late James A. Mock and Jean Wonders Mock of Johnstown.
Besides her mother she is survived by her partner Charles (Jim) Burtner, of Driftwood; daughter, Ashley Grace and son Arden John (Mikki) Nagrant; two sisters, Mary (Mark) Rager, Johnstown; Laura (Steve) Lukac, Uniontown, PA; brother, David (Heidi) Mock, Charleroi, PA; numerous nieces and nephews.
Nancy graduated from CVMH School of Nursing and from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown with degrees in nursing and business. She worked many years as a registered nurse before becoming a pharmaceutical representative. Nancy loved her family and friends passionately, adored her dogs, her house on the river (that she filled with all her pretty things), the Steelers, the Penguins, the Pirates and shoes.
Those of us who knew her would say she was like the moon with perfect imperfections and we loved her in all her phases.
At Nancy‘s request, a memorial service will be held privately at a future date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
