Emporium Food Market presenting the Power Wheel Demo Derby Saturday! 

 Here is the registration form and rules. 

 Rev up those engines! 

Saturday October 16 2:00 PM 

 Former Sylvania Complex Event Rules: This is a FREE Event

 There will be two classes: Ages 3-5 and 6-10 

All children must be signed in with one parent

 All children must wear bicycle helmets 

If a child gets out of the power wheel during the event, the child is disqualified 

Power Wheel Build: All power wheels must remain stock with no added reinforcements. 

 No 4-wheeler type vehicles allowed 

Child’s legs must be in compartment. 

 Must use factory battery only. Doors and tailgates must be strapped shut with zip ties or duct tape. Tires may be covered in duct tape to prevent them from breaking. 

Power Wheel Decorations: Power wheels may be decorated to look like a demo derby car 

 Decoration can only be made out of the following: cardboard, tape, paper etc. 

Each power wheel must have a number on one side for scoring. 

Power Wheel Event: Each age group will be given a 15 minute time limit. One parent will be allowed in the pit area with their child. All power wheels will be checked at the gate and impounded until time for the event. After time has expired, the winner will be decided by the child that performed the best during the event. Judges will be randomly chosen from the crowd.
