The Emporium Rotary Club awarded Gayle & Harry Mansfield their Service Above Self Award at the Rotary luncheon meeting September 21st. This award is given by the club annually to an individual, group or organization in the community who volunteer their time & effort helping local individuals or with community activities. The Mansfields have been serving the community for over 50 years as a couple and individually including Boy & Girls Scouts, Food Pantry, Esther’s Place, First United Methodist Church committee members, preparing lunches for Rotary each week, Fair Association board members and other volunteer work to numerous to mention. They truly meet the motto of “Service Above Self.” Also pictured (right) is Rotary President Elect, Brad Rinehart.
