This week, Rotarian Jeana Bolin presented a program on the necessity of weightlifting and resistance exercises as a senior citizen. Doing mild to moderate weightlifting (such as a can of soup or vegetables) and by doing resistance exercises such as squats, push-ups, band exercises, calf raises and seated leg lifts a few times a week, can improve leg strength and balance, but it also can slow brain aging and protect against Alzheimer's Disease.🏋️♂️
