Rotary Club of Emporium
This week, Rotarian John Kautz introduced Kyle Dunn, the full-time curator of the Eldred WWII Museum, as his guest speaker. With their motto of "Learn history. Make a better future," the museum is preserving the history of WWII. There are three levels and 15,000 sq ft. of WWII memorabilia including replicas of a life-size submarine, life-size bunkers you can walk inside, thousands of artifacts from guns to patches and flags to uniforms.
Why a WWII Museum in Eldred? The answer awaits within the museum.
Their hours are Tuesday thru Saturday 10:00 - 4:00 and Sunday 1:00 - 4:00. No admission fee, however, donations would always be appreciated. You can reach out to Kyle at Kyle@eldredpawwiimuseum.com, visit them at 201 Main Street Eldred, Pa., (814) 225-2220 or find them on Facebook.
