Emporium Borough Spring Clean Up 2025
The Spring Clean Up Date for customers whose garbage is picked up during regular Monday Residential Garbage Pickup will be Monday, May 5.
The Spring Clean Up Date for customers whose garbage is picked up during regular Wednesday Residential Garbage Pickup will be Wednesday, May 14.
The Spring Clean Up Date for customers whose garbage is picked up during regular Friday Residential Garbage Pickup will be Friday, May 23
.Residents on Ash Street, Gobbler’s Knob, and Oak Hill Lane will have their Spring Clean Up Date on Thursday, May 22.
RESTRICTIONS:
Only residents in Good Standing (no back balances) on their garbage bills will have their Spring Clean Up items picked up without charge.
The Emporium Borough Sanitation Crew will NOT be able to pick up Electronics, Paint, Yard Debris, Microwaves, or Hazardous Materials.
Please set all scrap metal off to the side of the other items for pickup as these are collected separately for recycling. All fluids must be drained from any mowers, snowblowers, or any similar powered items.
Construction Waste is not included in the Spring Pick Up. To dispose of construction waste you must rent a dumpster. Call the borough office for more information.
Refrigerators and freezers can be picked up ONLY if the freon has been removed by a certified technician and the unit has been tagged by the technician.
Tires will be picked up but a fee will be charged based on the size of the tire.
