Open to students in grades 3–5, this after-school Discover Lab with Courtney Rieger

October 18 | 12:00 PM | Adult Zombie Barbie Craft
Teens and adults can join the fun and zombify a Barbie with paints, wires, fabric, and more.

October 20 | 4:00 PM | All About Owls
Join Ms. Alyson Rotello, Environmental Education Specialist, for a hootastic program all about
owls in Pennsylvania: Discover that Pennsylvania is home to eight owl species, learn where
owls live, and what they love to eat. Then, enjoy a short talk and story-time and dissect your
own owl pellet to uncover the bones and clues of an owl’s diet.
Note: Young children must be
accompanied by an adult during the pellet dissection.
October 30 | 5:00 – 6:00 PM | Spooky Story Hour & Pumpkin Painting
Get ready for an eerie evening with Librarian Yelena Kisler and guest Scott Floyd (ADAS)! First
up: Pumpkin Painting — carve out your spooky vision with paints and brushes (registration

rising.
Stay the full hour… if you dare.
