EMPORIUM PA - Get ready for an hour of living history that’s as entertaining as it is
enlightening! This Native American Heritage Month, the Barbara Moscato Brown Memorial
Library is thrilled to welcome Lancequiver Sequoyah White Eagle—a celebrated Native
American storyteller, historian, and cultural educator—for an evening of tales, wisdom, and
wonder.
White Eagle’s performances are more than just stories—they’re time travel through legend and
laughter. Drawing from generations of oral tradition, he shares powerful tales of courage, nature,
and community, while weaving in modern reflections on how Indigenous traditions continue to
thrive today.
The son of master storyteller Robert White Eagle, Lance has carried his family’s storytelling
legacy to schools, pow-wows, and cultural centers across the country. With humor, heart, and a
touch of mischief, he invites listeners of all ages to see the world through a more connected and
compassionate lens.
