Cameron County Conservation District
This past Friday, students from 4th-6th grades at Woodland Elementary School spent the day at Sizerville State Park learning about environmental education during the Wild About Nature Field Day hosted by the Cameron County Conservation District.
Students spent the day learning about:
*Woodhicks with Jennifer Haines from the PA Lumber Heritage Region of Pennsylvania, Inc.
*Animal survival with CCOYA's Taylor Gillette.
*Birds with Environmental Educator Specialist Matt Schenck from Sinnemahoning State Park.
*Mammals with Environmental Educator Specialist Alyson Rotello from Sizerville State Park.
*First Aid Safety in the woods with Blaine Manginell with Bender Safety and Training.
*Macros with Jon-Marc Burdick from the Cameron County Conservation District.
