All Fired Up Kickin Ash BBQ
Downtown Emporium will be filled with smokers Saturday September 27 as the All Fired Up Kickin Ash BBQ returns. This year the event is the final competition in the PA Wilds BBQ Circuit.
Emporium Food Market staff once again selecting the mystery meat for the highlight of the competition. Competitors will not know the item until Friday night. The winner based on the judges tastebuds will take home $500 cash. What sets this competition apart from most others according the Cameron County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Tina Solak is that competitors are allowed to sell their items to the public. “Competing in a BBQ competition is costly and selling makes it a win for all including the public ready to chow down on wings, brisket, pork and even turkey,” says Solak.
