This will be an intro to Astrophotography and is ideal for anyone who wants to start taking pictures of the night sky. There will be other events going on at the park so feel free to show up early.
You will need to walk in about 0.25 miles on a gravel/dirt path.
If lots of people show up, parking may be limited.
Things you will need
- A flashlight (a red light flashlight is preferred but not required).
- A chair or blanket to sit on.
- Weather appropriate clothes.
Things that would be good to bring
- A camera or modern cellphone that supports astro mode.
- A tripod (if you don't have one that is fine I will bring a few spares but you may have to wait to use them.
- If your camera has changeable lenses, you want a wide-angle lens (12mm - 24mm is ideal) and with a wide aperture (f1.2 - f3.5 is idea).
If you have any questions, please message me.
The entrance into the park is 41.46689, -78.22561
