Thank you to the Cameron County Conservation District for hosting a tour of the Sterling Run watershed (in the area of May Hollow) this week! We had the opportunity see its passive treatment systems that have been clearing acid mine drainage from the stream for the last several years. We also saw the results of that work in the form of healthy aquatic life in the stream. We were also joined by representatives from the Department of Environmental Protection, Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, and the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy.
