You're Invited to Join the Library in Celebrating Smokey Bear's 80th Birthday!
Let's Prevent Wildfires Together! 🌲🐻🔥
It's time to don your ranger hats and grab your reading glasses because we're celebrating a very special birthday – Smokey Bear's 80th! 🐻🌲🎂🎁🎉
To celebrate, we'll be hosting a fun-filled reading challenge starting TODAY through November 28, 2024.
This challenge is open to ALL AGES.
We want to encourage you to not only have fun but to also learn about wildfire prevention, forestry, ecology & environmental care!
To participate, the steps are very simple!
1. You can pick up a reading log, list of book recommendations and an activity sheet at the library during regular business hours.
2. You use your logs to keep track of the books you read.
3. You earn prizes based on the number of books you read!
Let's join Smokey Bear in his mission to protect our forests and prevent wildfires.
Remember, only YOU can prevent wildfires! 🌲🔥
