Today we welcome another one of our talented crochet artists back to the market, Amanda Knight with The Knights Wand!
Amanda moved to Cameron County with her young son last summer and joined the market soon after with her fun and unique crochet creations. Amanda loves color and it shows in the vibrant garments that she designs and stitches together. No two pieces are the same so if you are looking for a truly one-of-a-kind addition to your outfit then Amanda will have something special for you! Many of the garments she makes fit more than one size so think of it as a shop the closet rack! As well as clothes, Amanda creates purses, hats, keychains, headbands and her signature item, Emotional Support Chickens complete with a unique affirmation that she hand-writes herself.
If you don’t find exactly what you’re looking for Amanda also takes custom orders and will happily design and create something just for you.
This year she is also adding a claw machine to her stall so bring your kids, they will love having a go at grabbing a prize which can be anything from a sea animal friend to snakes! Everyone wins!
Amanda will be debuting lots of fun new things this season that she wants to leave as a surprise for market day so pop by our first market of the season this Saturday, May 11, 9am to noon at the Emporium Town Square to see what Amanda and all the vendors have in store for you!
