Pontoon Tours of the Stevenson Reservoir
 Sunday, August 23rd 9:00 AM, 10:30 A.M., and 12:30 P.M. 
Join park staff for a relaxing and informative tour around the lake, as we cruise the shoreline of the George B. Stevenson Reservoir in search of wildlife. Group size is limited. To reserve a seat, please pre- register. Registration is not required but is strongly recommended.

Backpack Blessing Service 
 Emmanuel Episcopal Church - East Fourth Street in Emporium will hold a Backpack Blessing service this Sunday, August 23 at 11 AM. This is open to the community - all are welcome. The children are asked to come to Miller Hall (behind the church, by 11 AM) they will be brought over to the church for a sermon/talk geared to them and going back to school. They will be given a keychain to hook on their backpack. There will be blessing prayers for returning to school. Afterward, there will be pizza and cake at Miller Hall to celebrate the kids going back to school.
