Tyler “Clunk” Clinger, 31, of, passed way unexpectedly, Tuesday, January 6, 2026
Born on July 25, 1994, he was the son of Christopher and Lisa Clinger.
At the time of his passing he was employed Wablec. Several of his coworkers he thought of as family.
Tyler was a loving man that truly cherished his family, friends and coworkers. That love was returned.
Always caring for others he inquired how you are or would try to get you to laugh or smile, even while dealing with his own struggles.
He enjoyed taking mountain rides while blaring his favorite music. Everyone who knew he knows he rocked on Xbox and enjoyed gaming, especially with his father and brother. He had a hidden intellect when it came to dabbling with space, mechanics and physics in the mysterious ways of the universe.
Tyler truly had a heart of gold and reached out to those he held dear to his heart! To them he left one final message. “Family first…over everything.”
His survivors include his parents, Christopher and Lisa Clinger; his brother, Cory (Jessica) Clinger; his sister, Toni (Larry); his grandparents, Gary and Barbara Clinger and Wanda Jarrell; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.
As per Tyler’s wish there will be no formal services held.
A memorial gathering has been planned by his family to be held January 31, 2026, at Emporium Fire Hall.
In lieu of flowers his family requests that memorial donation be made in Tyler’s memory to NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Keystone Pennsylvania, 105 Braunlich Dr., Suite 200, Pittsburgh, PA. 15237-3351.
