Cameron County, PA Sheriff's Office
The Cameron County Sheriff is seeking applicants for a part-time position as Deputy Sheriff.
Duties include but are not limited to providing facility and court security, serving warrants and Protection from Abuse Orders as directed by the Court, conducting background investigations related to License to Carry or License to Sell Firearms, and transporting and monitoring detained persons in the Sheriff’s custody.
The successful applicant must have the ability to pass a Criminal Background Check, possess a valid PA Driver’s License with a good driving history, and must possess or be willing to obtain Act 1984-2/Act 2014-114 (Sheriff/Deputy Sheriff Basic or Waiver Training) and maintain certification along with completing yearly training and continuing education consisting of legal updates required to maintain Act 2 certification.
