Shippen Township is accepting applications for a part-time, seasonal road worker/laborer.
Your responsibilities would include mowing grass and managing roadside vegetation with a tractor, boom mower and trimmers. Candidates should be at least 18 years old. A valid Pennsylvania driver’s license is required. Candidates should be able to perform physical labor in various weather conditions, which includes lifting heavy objects, standing, walking, bending and operating machinery for extended periods. The ideal candidate will enjoy working outside, have a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
