Today’s featured vendor is local artist, Liz Young!
Liz’s passion for painting began over 30 years ago, and her love for art continues to bloom. Inspired by nature and the ever-changing seasons, Liz works in a variety of mediums including oils, acrylics, and watercolors. While mostly self-taught, she has honed her skills through several art classes with mentors who’ve helped shape her vibrant style.
Her body of work includes stunning forest landscapes, portraits, local wildlife scenes, and anything else that captures her imagination. Liz often paints from her own photos or directly from life, letting the beauty around her guide each brushstroke.
But Liz’s creativity doesn’t stop at canvas—she also paints charming birdhouses, both functional and decorative, as well as whimsical animal-themed rock paintings and collages crafted from found and natural materials.
New this year! Liz has added handcrafted floral wreaths to her offerings—each one a unique, seasonal celebration made with care and creativity to brighten your home or front door.
Liz’s artwork is colorful, joyful, and full of personality—perfect for adding a splash of charm to your living space or garden.
Come and visit Liz and all our wonderful vendors at our first market of the season on Saturday, May 10, from 9am to 12pm at the Emporium Town Square!
