Teens Invited to Craft Prehistoric Masterpieces at Dinosaur Trinket Bowl Workshop
EMPORIUM, PA – Looking for a fun way to spend a summer afternoon? The Barbara Moscato Brown Memorial Library is inviting local teens to dig into their creativity at its upcoming Dinosaur Trinket Bowl Craft program on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, from 2:00-4:00 PM.
As part of the library's Unearth A Story Summer Reading Program, participants ages 12-18 will use clay, paint, and dinosaur figurines to create their own unique dinosaur-themed trinket bowls. Whether they're used to hold jewelry, keys, earbuds, or treasured keepsakes, each bowl will be a one-of-a-kind creation. A light snack will also be provided during the event.
Adding to the excitement, the program will be led by two local teen volunteers who will help guide participants through the crafting process and share creative ideas for making each project truly prehistoric.
"Dinosaurs, paint, clay, snacks, and creativity—what's not to love?" said Library Director Yelena Kisler. "We're excited to see what our teens create and to showcase the talents of the teen volunteers leading the program."
No crafting experience is necessary, and there is no registration required. Teens are encouraged to simply stop by, get creative, and enjoy an afternoon of hands-on dinosaur-themed fun.
The Dinosaur Trinket Bowl Craft program is free and open to all teens ages 12-18.
