Learn to use the Newcombs Wildlifower Guide to identify common forest flowers and enjoy some time outside this spring when you join a park naturalist.
Participants can expect to walk roughly a mile along a road with some hills.

Please join park volunteers, Garland and Patrick Eicher, at the Wildlife Viewing Area Gazebo for a view of the park’s active eagle nest.

If you took a kid out whether they were successful or not stop in to talk turkey with CCOYA and the Cameron County Longbeards!

Spring Clean Up for Lumber Township will be held Saturday, May 30, 2026 from 7 am - 2 pm
Cost is $20 per drop off load and $40 for pick up.
Anyone requesting a pickup, it must be scheduled before May 30th.
Call 814-546-2499 for any questions or to schedule pick up.
No electronics, hazardous materials, or paint will be accepted.
Tires will be an additional charge (regular $5& large size $10)
All refuse bills must be paid up to date to participate in cleanup day.
Open to all Lumber Township residents and camp owners.
