Learn to Geocache
Saturday, April 11th, 2026 1:00 P.M.-2:30 P.M
Want to go on a real-life treasure hunt? Discover the
world of Geocaching, where participants use a GPS unit to navigate to a set of coordinates, then use
clues to search for a hidden container. Geocaching is a great way to get outdoors, find new and
exciting locations and is appropriate for all ages. In this 1.5-hour program, participants will learn
what Geocaching is, how to use Geocaching.com and how to find a Geocache. Participants will then
be able to find multiple other Geocaches located within Sinnemahoning State Park.

Spring Clean Up for Lumber Township will be held Saturday, May 30, 2026 from 7 am - 2 pm
Cost is $20 per drop off load and $40 for pick up.
Anyone requesting a pickup, it must be scheduled before May 30th.
Call 814-546-2499 for any questions or to schedule pick up.
No electronics, hazardous materials, or paint will be accepted.
Tires will be an additional charge (regular $5& large size $10)
All refuse bills must be paid up to date to participate in cleanup day.
Open to all Lumber Township residents and camp owners.
