Rotary Club of Emporium
On Tuesday, Rotarian Sarah Daley brought guest speaker, Jared Brackbill to talk about his experience as a new Cameron County resident. In 2023, Jared and his family participated in a program called PA Wilds are Working which brought remote workers from across the country to live in Cameron County for one month. Jared and his family originally lived in Carlisle, PA and were looking for a family friendly place for their daughter. The fell in love with all that our county had to offer and purchased a home in Emporium during their stay. They have been here since, participating in community activities and their daughter currently works at Aroma Cafe.
When you see the Brackbills around town, be sure to give them a friendly welcome!
