Emporium Residents & Fire Dept. Help Those in Need

 

Yesterday our Emporium Vol. Fire Department posted this on their Facebook page. 

 Cameron County residents delivered with amazing support!! 

Today, Aug. 12th they have posted they will be delivering another truckload of supplies. 

Information is posted below and on their FB page. 

As many of you are aware, Storm Debbie created flooding in many areas, and so many were hit hard close to Cameron County. Our fire department is again collecting items to help those in need and delivering them to the flood Victims in the Ulysses / Westfield area.

These supplies were delivered last evening. 

 Please Help Us Out! We are currently in Westfield, PA responding with Elkland Search & Rescue. Westfield and the Ulysses area are in desperate need of the following items, if you can help, please consider dropping off what you can to the fire station tonight. I will be down there around 6:15 PM taking donations. This is a travesty what these people are currently going through, let’s try to help them out and make life a little less difficult right now.

 I have had many people reaching out if we will be doing another collection of donations for the Flood Victims in the Ulysses / Westfield area. Yes, we will be doing this again tonight! 

 Collection will start at 4:30 PM! You may drop off your items at the Fire Department!

We had a HUGE amount of clothing donations last night.
