Cameron County School District
The Cameron County High School is again offering the opportunity for citizens to participate in the Community Walking Program. This program promotes fitness by providing an indoor venue for walkers to use during the winter months.
The high school will be available for walkers during the hours of 6:00 to 8:00 PM on days in
which school is in session from November 30, 2022 to March 31, 2023.
The following enhanced security measures will be in effect: all participants must enter through the parking lot doors at the rear of the building; walkers must sign in and sign out using the registry book located at the top of the stairs in the main lobby; all walkers must comply with the posted rules; and finally, the doors will only be opened from 6:00 to 6:30 PM on evenings when no public events are scheduled.
