Richard A. Gibbs, 47, of Oswego, NY, died Saturday, June 5, 2021, in Penn Highlands DuBois.
Born September 14, 1973 in St. Marys, he was the son of Robert C. and Gladys S. Gibbs.
Richard was a 1993 graduate of Cameron County High School.
He relocated to Oswego 5 years ago where he was employed as a monitor with Durham School Bus Company.
Survivors include: his father, Robert of Emporium; one brother, Robert C. Gibbs III of Newport News, VA; one sister, Susan (Harold) Seay of Smethport; one niece and one great niece and also survived by his companion of over 5 years, Rob Petre of
Oswego NY.
He was predeceased by his mother “Susie” in September of 2020.
Friends will be received Thursday, June 10, in the Coppersmith-Condon Funeral Home, Emporium, from 4-7 p.m. at which time Funeral and Committal Services will follow with the Rev. James Eastman, officiating.
Burial will be in Gardner Hill Cemetery, Force, PA.
Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Cameron County Ambulance Service.
