Julie Collins, owner of 3 Miracle Ear franchises located in Kersey, Brookville & DuBois, was the guest speaker at the September 8th Rotary luncheon meeting. Julie is Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences and has been in the industry for 18 years. Hearing, one of a person’s 5 senses, is very important to a person’s quality of life. Loss of hearing can lead to memory loss, impaired cognitive abilities, alertness, decline in brain functions such as Alzheimer’s and dementia, and foster a rapid decline in an individual.
