Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Assess older adults’ needs and determine are in need of Older Adult Protective Services: Conduct investigations into allegations of abuse, neglect, or exploitation of individuals or property, ensuring thorough documentation and compliance with required policies and procedures. Perform fieldwork, including face-to-face interviews, information gathering, and comprehensive evaluations to determine appropriate services and interventions. Complete reassessments, manage conflict resolution, and provide emergency on-call support as scheduled. Develop and present individualized service plans to support their well-being and independence. Demonstrate professionalism by respecting client autonomy and self-determination while maintaining an unbiased, culturally sensitive, and ethical approach to service delivery.
