Spring Clean Up
Tentatively on schedule to be mid to late May 2026.
Borough residents can set out a couple of extra bags on their regular pick-up day.
The sanitation crew records the extra amounts, and the charge appears on the next bill.
If the amount is large, please schedule a dumpster. 814 486-0768 #221 (make sure to press the # sign)
Gibson Township Clean Up Day
May 16th & 17th
August 29th & 30th
Dumpsters will be available to discard lg items as furniture, building supplies, lg household appliances. ONLY two loads per property.
No tires, tv's, computers or hazardous waste.
Account must be current
Grove Township Clean Up Day
Spring Large item clean-up day for Grove Township will be held May 2nd, 2026, 9-4.
This is when you can bring that old furniture and bed mattress to dispose of them.
There is also a metal dumpster available all the time for scrap metal.
Lumber Township Clean Up Day
Spring Clean Up for Lumber Township will be Saturday May 30, 2026 from 7am to 2pm
Cost is $20 per drop off load and $40 for pick up.
Anyone requesting pick up, it must be scheduled before May 30th.
Call 814-546-2499 for any questions or to schedule pick up.
No electronics, hazardous materials or paint will be accepted.
Tires will be an additional charge (regular size $5 and large size $10)
All refuse bills must be paid up to date to participate in clean up day.
Open to all Lumber Township residents and camp owners.
Shippen Township
Spring Clean Up
April 25th from 7 AM to 12 PM.
The cost this year will be $20.00 per load with tires extra.

Hello, Cameron County residents!
This is a friendly reminder to bring only your recyclables up to the center.
Please separate your recyclables from your household garbage.
The workers are not expected to go through your household garbage and pick out the recyclable items. Also, please be considerate and rinse out your cans and bottles, especially with the warmer weather starting. Thank you!
Items accepted:
Brown glass, Green glass, Clear glass, Mixed paper, Corrugated cardboard,
#1, #2, #5 plastics, Aluminum and tin cans
No cat food cans or coated cardboard containers
We would like to remind everyone that the Cameron County Recycling Center DOES NOT ACCEPT: Grass Clippings, aluminum siding or any construction materials, plastic containers from plants or others that are not labeled as #1 or #2 plastic.
The dumpster located on the premises is NOT to be used for your own personal garbage!
If you have garbage, please put it at your own curbside.
