Linda Lou Miller

Linda Lou Miller, 79, of Emporium, PA, formerly of Marion, Iowa, passed away peacefully at Guy & Mary Felt Manor in Emporium on Thursday afternoon (March 12, 2026) with her loving husband by her side following a lengthy illness. She was born June 14, 1946, in Oskaloosa, Iowa, a daughter of the late Lew and Opal Calif Harrison. On September 4, 1965, she married Kenneth R. Miller, who survives.

Linda was a devoted wife and loving stay-at-home mother who dedicated her life to raising her three children alongside her husband, Ken. She took great pride in caring for her family and creating a warm and welcoming home. Linda enjoyed attending garage sales and searching for unique treasures that she and Ken would refinish and resell in her resale shop. She had a wonderful eye for finding beauty in old items and giving them new life.

She was a member of the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church in Emporium and greatly enjoyed attending Bible study with the ladies’ group. Her faith was an important part of her life, and several years ago she traveled on a mission trip to an orphanage in Haiti, an experience that was very meaningful to her.

Linda was also a talented artist who loved drawing, especially portraits. Most of all, she cherished the time she spent with her children and grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and pride.

In addition to her loving husband, Kenneth R. Miller, she is survived by three children: Keith L. Miller (Suzette) of Waterloo, Iowa; Kerrie E. Armstrong of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and Jacob D. Miller (Danielle) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Donald Harrison of Mason City, Iowa; and one sister, Charlotte Katcher (Rev. Dale) of Bowling Green, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Carolyn Harrison.

There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be announced at a later date at the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, Sizerville Road, Emporium, PA.

Burial will be in Iowa at a later date.
