Bender Safety & Training Corporation has officially signed the grant agreement and been approved to receive $50,000 from the George and Margaret Mee Charitable Foundation.
This funding will be used to purchase the durable training equipment, instructional materials, and program resources needed to launch and operate one full calendar cycle of EMT and Advanced EMT training in 2026, at little to no cost for participants.
This is a major step forward for our region, especially for rural counties that rely on strong EMS systems. With this support, we will be able to bring high-quality EMS education directly to the communities that need it most.

For residents of Cameron County, Pennsylvania, these courses are expected to be low-cost or free, pending final approval from our Board of Directors.
