Nancy Lee Main (1944-2022) of Apache Junction, AZ. passed away in her home peacefully in her sleep, on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, where she was reunited with her parents, and her husband Edward Theodore Main (2019). Nancy was born on November 17, 1944 to Albert Stephen Metz & Helen Amanda Hawk Metz in Yuba City, California where her father was serving in the US Army.
Nancy grew up in Emporium PA and graduated from Cameron County High School, Class of 1962. On May 29, 1964 at the First Methodist Church in Emporium PA, she married Edward Theodore Main. He died August 13, 2019. Nancy loved Bingo and loved to read. After her eyesight failed, she continued to read through Books on Tape. She was quick to recommend her favorite reads and ask for suggestions. Always quick-witted, she loved hearing and telling a good joke or funny story. Her greatest joy was being a mother of 2 sons.
Nancy is survived by 3 Sisters, Diane (Edward) Bolin of Emporium, Pa. Linda Metz Slyder of Emporium, Pa. & Pam Hartman of Cisne, IL., her sons Edward Theodore Main Jr & John Walter Main (Julie), 4 grandchildren Vince (Eddy) & Johnie Steven Alan, Brandi Alyssa & Johnna Edith Nicole (John). Nancy was also blessed with 9 great grandchildren, Riley Rinnell, Jaxon Edward, twins Zion Noah & Zoe Nevaeh (Vince), Landon Elias Alexander & Caleb Alan (Johnie), Lyra Love (Brandi), Amelia Rose & Qiyana Elie (Johnna). Nancy was also survived by a multitude of extended family, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
Nancy was loved by all who knew her & will be greatly missed. Until we're all reunited in Paradise.
