Cameron County Farmers Market Saturday Sept. 10th!

 

Cameron County Farmers Market 

Two days until our next farmers market and we have a great line-up of talented and hard-working local vendors for you! They will be offering everything from fresh produce, home-baked breads and apiary products to hand-woven garments and original artwork. Come out and support these inspiring creators!

 Pop down this Saturday, 10th September, 9am to 1pm, at the Emporium Town Square. 
 EAT HEALTHY & SHOP LOCAL!! 
Here is the line-up of vendors we have for you this month:

SOUTHERN TIER GARDENS: Local grower, Randy Bailey, will be selling a selection of fresh-picked vegetables from his (and Pam’s) garden. Accepting cash only. LAURA & THERESA ZOSCHG: This mother and daughter duo will be selling their delicious home-made baguettes, high protein bread, rye bread, black rye, white bread, whole wheat bread, pitas, and a variety of rolls. Accepting cash only.

DAVID ENGLISH: Dave is another one of our talented local growers and will be selling his delicious, garden fresh produce. Accepting cash only.

FREEZE-DRIED EMPORIUM: Tasha VanSickles is selling her large selection of freeze-dried treats, from sweet to savoury you will find something here to get your tastebuds flowing! She will also be selling Ox Dynasty Hickory Syrup. Tasha will be accepting cash and debit/credit card via Square.

KARIE & JIM ZOSCHG: Karie will be promoting her collection of essential oils. She will be offering mini workshops with a fall fragrance theme where you can make your own oils, including vanilla spice room/linen spray, an Autumn scented foaming hand soap, and pumpkin preserving spray. Jim will bring some garden goodies to sell as well. They will be accepting cash, check, Venmo or PayPal.

MIKE THOMPSON: Mike is one of our local growers and will be selling a mix of freshly picked vegetables from his garden. Accepting cash only.

MOUNTAIN VIEW SHEEP FARM: Bonnie Troemel will be demonstrating her weaving technique on her triangular loom as well as offering a beautiful selection of hand-woven shawls and blankets for sale. Bonnie is accepting cash and debit/credit cards.

SARAH JANE DALEY: Sarah is our local artist who will be offering some of her beautiful canvas paintings for sale. Sarah will be accepting cash and Venmo. Personal checks are acceptable for larger purchases (over $50.00).

JEFF BORDEN: Jeff will have a selection of garden produce including a variety of squashes, cabbages and dessert tomatoes. Accepting cash.

D'S QUEEN BEES: Dylan & Ashley Major will be selling their aromatic selection of apiary products including honey, candles, soaps, lip balms and wax melts. They will be accepting cash, PayPal or Venmo.

KRISTIN THOMSON: Kristin will be selling her scrumptious home-made banana bread, pumpkin bread, and granola. Accepting cash.

PURPLE DOVE KEEPSAKES: Melissa Grimes has a collection of beautifully crocheted, sewn and knitted items ranging from Raggedy Ann dolls and stuffed animals for the kids to shawls, hats and bags for the adults. Accepting cash only.

TIM & JEN OLIVETT: Tim & Jen will be heading to the auctions again and returning with some fresh produce to sell. They will be offering fruits and vegetables that differ from what the local growers are offering. Accepting cash.

VALERIE VAN BREUGEL: I will have a selection of fresh produce from our garden, including pac choi, beans, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers and some fresh herbs. On our table there will also be information about the Barbara Moscato Brown Library’s Seed Library. Accepting cash only.
