Joseph F. LaBrozzi, Sr

 


Joseph F. LaBrozzi, Sr., 99, of Sizerville Road, Emporium, PA died at Guy & Mary Felt Manor, Emporium, PA on Sunday morning (December 27, 2020). He was born September 10, 1921 in Emporium, PA a son of the late Vincent and Elizabeth Perry LaBrozzi. On August 9, 1941 in Russellton, PA he married the late Adeline "Della" Gentile.

Joe served with the US Navy during WW II. He worked in the maintenance department at Sylvania in Emporium for over 49 years. He was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church, and was a life member of the Miller-Raffaele Post 6221, VFW and a member of the American Legion Olkosky-Jessop Post 194, Emporium, the Loyal order of the Moose Lodge 368, Emporium and was a lifetime member of the Bucktail Rod and Gun Club. Joe was an avid hunter and sportsman. He enjoyed reloading ammunition and was an excellent marksman who always enjoyed friendly shooting competition. He was a independent masonry contractor who helped volunteer on many projects around the area.

He is survived by three daughters, Carol Ann (Robert) Ives, St. Augustine, FL; Diane Marie (Lee) Pesch, Phoenix, AZ; Anita Louise (Anthony) Pellegrino, Warren, PA; three sons, Lawrence J. (Sandra) LaBrozzi, Bradford, PA; Vincent P. (Karen) LaBrozzi, Glendale, AZ; Joseph F. (Nancy) LaBrozzi, Brady, TX; 14 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; a brother, Edward LaBrozzi, Emporium; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth E. LaBrozzi; six brothers, Francis, Dominic, Norman, Richard, Philip and Bernard LaBrozzi; sister, Irene Horning; granddaughter, Toni Lynn LaBrozzi.

There will be No Visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at the St. Mark Catholic Church, 235 East Fourth Street, Emporium, PA at a later date with Rev. Paul S. Siebert, Pastor, as Celebrant.

Burial will be in the St. Mark Catholic Cemetery, Emporium, PA

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Guy & Mary Felt Manor, 110 East 4th Street, Emporium, PA 15834 or the charity of the donors choice.
