Emporium Rotary Club
On October 20th, the Emporium Rotary Club hosted their annual Rotary World’s Greatest Meal event.
The World’s Greatest Meal is a Rotary initiative where Rotarians share a meal and raise funds to eradicate Polio worldwide. The funds raised at the event are directed towards the PolioPlus vaccination program and public awareness campaigns.
To participate in the event this year, 25 members of the Emporium Rotary Club brought their own lunches to the meeting and donated their normal lunch fee to PolioPlus.
The total amount donated was $320!
Featured in the first photo is Rotarian and Rotary Foundation Chairperson Marsha Hendrickson who gave a presentation about the PolioPlus program during the meeting. The second photo attached is of the 25 members present for the meeting, which includes Marsha Hendrickson.
