The Johnsonburg Community Trust recently had the opportunity to guide director, writer and producer Cody Knotts through several of Johnsonburg's historic downtown spaces as he prepares for his upcoming feature film, Legacy of Corruption, which will begin filming this September! 🎥🎞🎬

CASTING CALL: JOHNSONBURG, PA 🎬
Cody Knotts, of Grand Conspiracy Films LLC, is seeking local talent for the upcoming feature film, Legacy of Corruption! Join them for an open casting call on May 4th at the Johnsonburg Community Trust's Heritage-Education & Welcome Center.
Inspired by Washington County's most infamous murder of the past quarter century, the Prices Tavern murders of Frederick Brilla and Martin Brahler and the events surrounding it.
They are looking for experienced and undiscovered talent for featured roles and background talent to bring this story to life. Produced by Eternity Box Films.
New York based Director Cody Knotts will be present also along with at least one of the producers. Knotts has directed many features including Pro Wrestlers vs Zombies starring the late Roddy Piper and Kurt Angle, Wieland featured by The Library of America and Nathaniel Hawthorne's The Blithedale Romance which was shown at the American Literature Association conference in Boston.

This is a very emotionally charged role requiring 5-6 days of filming. Applicants will have a chemistry read with Michael Moriarty (Officer Funk) at the audition.
[21] Leroy: (Black Male, 16-45) Sherrie’s pimp. This is a pivotal role requiring 8 days of filming. Applicants will read with Michael Moriarty at the audition.
[25 & 27] Policemen: (Non-speaking) 4-day roles. Real-life prior law enforcement experience is a major plus.
[35] FBI Agent 2: (Non-speaking) 3-day role. Clean-cut appearance.
[36] Barista: (Female, 18-35) Speaking role. 1-day commitment.
[37] Caitlyn: (Female, ages 6-9) 2-day role. Note: A parent or legal guardian must be present on set at all times during filming.
[54] Chuck: (White Male, 16-25) Small build.
[75] Young Joan: (White Female, 18-25, Brunette) Non-speaking, one-scene role.
