Rotarian Ryan Magaro recently introduced his daughter, Aria Magaro, a ninth grader, as his guest speaker. Aria is well-known to our club, having recently won our 4-Way Test Speech Contest.
During her presentation, Aria discussed her years of involvement with CCOYA. Her journey began a few years ago when she won an essay contest, which earned her and her father a week-long stay at the Bighorn Sheep Camp in Wyoming. Since then, her extensive volunteer work at conservation events led to an opportunity to assist at the Eastern Chapter of the Wild Sheep Expo recently held in Lancaster.
We are also proud to share that Aria won the 2026 Townsend National Conservation Award for her consistent dedication to environmental efforts. Her passion for nature continues to drive her toward new and exciting achievements.
