🌱Good morning! This coming Thursday, August 21st, a group of volunteers is going to take to the streets of downtown to finish the business district weeding project. If you’ve noticed, about half of the downtown area is complete and looks so fresh!
🌱If you’re interested in helping, we are planning to meet at 8:00 am in front of the town square and disperse to areas that need attention!
🌱If you can’t come at 8, anyone is welcome at any time! The best tools to bring are a paint scraper, broom, and dustpan.
If you are a building or business owner (or want to help just because) and you’re willing to take care of your frontage to lighten our load, we’d so appreciate your help! We’ve also found an effective vinegar-based weed killer to use, but most of the weeds have to be removed first.
