William G. Hampton

William G. Hampton, 76, of Clearfield, PA, formerly of West Decatur, PA, died on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at Penn Highlands, Clearfield. 

 Born on June 21, 1948 in Bellefonte, PA, William was the son of the late Frank Hampton & Mabel R. (McClarren) Hampton. 

 He was a member of the Ohio United Methodist Church which is now Morgan Run Community Bible Church. He was also a member of the NRA. He was a Plumber for R.D. Goss Plumbing & Air Conditioning and he had worked at Tafco in Hyde, PA. 

 William graduated from Cameron Co. High School in 1966 and was a graduate of the Williamsport Trade School. He enjoyed trap shooting and welding. 

 William was preceded in death by his parents.

 William is survived by two brothers, David L. Hampton of Emporium, PA, and Pastor Roy L. Hampton & his wife Brenda K. of West Decatur, PA; one niece, Joy Coffey & her husband Eric; one great niece, Jenna Coffey; and one great nephew, Jaron Coffey. 

 A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Morning Star Fellowship Church in Osceola Mills. 

Pastor Roy L. Hampton, brother of the deceased, will officiate. 

 There will be no visitation. 

 Burial will be at Baughman Cemetery in (Sanborn) Rural Houtzdale, PA.

 Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC in Osceola Mills, PA is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
