Rotary Club of Emporium
Our guest speakers this week were introduced by Rotarian Barry Brown. Bill Reed, President and Jen Dixon, Treasurer of the Cameron County Little League spoke about this past season. There were 158 registered and 16 teams formed. $4,200 was raised by the Alle-Cat Baseball Team to use toward field maintenance and other repairs. The cost of $8,000 was needed to make the field safer. A contractor was hired and the Cameron County Commissioners helped with a grant. A new fence will be installed and dugout roofs are in need of repair.
Cameron County Little League has been in existence for many years and we thank those who volunteer their time and efforts to continue with this community recreational program!
