First Presbyterian Church
We welcome Rev. Jim Bitner to the pulpit on Sunday, June 9, 2024.
Worship service starts @10:30am. Everyone is welcome.

Rev. Bitner was raised in Emporium and graduated from CCSD in 1973.
Jim attended Liberty University where he earned a degree in Pastrol Ministries. He also met his wife Sue, his partner in ministry while there. During his time at Liberty University, he felt God’s call on his life to be a pastor.
Rev. Bitner has served two different churches, Grace Baptist Church for 9 years and Myerstown Christian Fellowship where he served as lead pastor for 27 years and currently serves as their assistant pastor.
Through the years Jim had has been heavily involved with missions. For the past 8 years he had been serving as ministry manager for Vietnam under the Outreach to Asia Nationals mission board. Twice a year Jim and his wife travel to Vietnam to train National pastors and their wives.
