Lawrence A. Skillman, 63, of Emporium, PA passed away at his residence, Emporium, PA on Sunday morning (September 3, 2023). He was born January 14, 1960 in Barnesboro, PA a son of the late Laverne and Violet Bartlebaugh Skillman.
Lawrence graduated from Cameron County High School. He worked for Elcam in St. Marys for many years. He loved to spend time outside in the woods especially hunting.
He is survived by one sister, Ann Skillman, Florida; seven brothers, Laverne Skillman, Bradford; June Peace, Brookville; Charles Skillman, Emporium; Russell Skillman, Marienville; John Skillman, St. Marys; Henry Skillman, Emporium; Joe Skillman, Emporium; along with several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents, Laverne and Violet Skillman; half brother, William Bartlebaugh.
There will be No Visitation. A memorial service will be announced at a later date at Deeper Waters Ministries, 37 West Fifth Street, Emporium, PA
Burial will take place in the Moore Hill Cemetery, Emporium, PA
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Barnett Funeral Home, 207 E. 4th St., Emporium, PA 15834 to help the family with the final expenses.
