CCOYA
3rd and final night Sunday 10/25 of the 2026 CCOYA youth doe hunt!
We had one successful hunter!
Kameron was fortunate enough to tag his first deer!
After being unsure of the hit the mentor decided to back out and pick up the track in the morning.
This morning after only 100 yards passed last blood marked the night before we recovered the deer!
The shot was great and the doe expired quickly.
Thank you to all the youth hunters and mentors that participated in our event.
We had a very successful hunt harvesting 6 mature does, 4 of which have been donated to Hunters Sharing the Harvest and will be distributed in emporium at the local food bank.
